 Tartu Regional Energy Agency works to support energy efficiency and sustainable energy management in the Tartu region. They provide energy audits and energy efficiency advice including on possible upgrades and cost-benefit analysis, run consultations at their offices, and organise training days and workshops on energy management for interested people and organisations.

Eesti Taastuvenergia Koda / Estonian Chamber of Renewable Energy: provide resources and run training programmes on energy efficiency and implementing renewable energy solutions, including micro-production for businesses and households.

Elering is the Estonian national grid. They provide an overview of renewable energy grants and incentives, including feed-in-tariffs:

Environmental Investment Centre provides grants and loans for environmental management, renewable energy, and energy efficiency projects in Estonia. They run grant competitions and organise events. There are no on-going grants – so it’s a matter of keeping up-to-date with their activities to see whether any suitable opportunities arise.


Awards and certifications:

Aasta Keskkonnasõbralik Ettevõte / Environmentally Friendly Company competition: organized every year with a view to identify environmentally-friendly companies who have implemented actions that have a positive impact on the environment to encourage other companies, organizations and individuals use the same environmentally friendly solutions. The competition winners will have the right to use the eco-label of the Ministry of Environment.

Julie’s Bicycle Creative Industry Green: environmental certification scheme ranging from 1-3 stars specifically designed for the creative industries, available for festivals/outdoor events, venues, and offices.

A Greener Festival Awards: environmental sustainability award for outdoor events and festivals.
